Project Ideas

Homemade pet blanket

No Sew Blankets

Shelters & rescues love fleece blankets.  They keep kittens warm and are very comforting  to all pets waiting for their forever homes.

This is a fun project that does not need a sewing machine!

Cat Overpopulation 411

Middle school students created an interactive display to teach 1st graders about cat overpopulation. Kids learned that one unspayed female and her offspring could produce thousands of cats that need homes.

Adoption Posters

Creating adoption posters to feature adoptable pets at your local shelter is always a hit!  Shelters and rescues use the artwork to promote pets waiting for their forever homes on their website and social media.

When I was 12 years old I wrote an ordinance to ban cat declawing in my city and got it passed.  I’m excited to be a part of Paws Up Projects to inspire other kids to make a difference for animals.  Paws Up Projects is a perfect way to showcase what can be done no matter what your age. – Ella
